Pedro Wider Malcher é pianista, compositor e produtor musical, com bacharelado em arranjo/MPB pela UNIRIO. Radicado no Rio de Janeiro desde 2014, iniciou seus estudos de piano ainda na infância, incentivado pela família. O amor pelo instrumento e pela música o direcionaram a uma carreira dedicada e promissora, com uma atuação ampla e expressiva na indústria musical.

 

Com uma trajetória de 15 anos, Pedro construiu um percurso marcado pela diversidade de projetos e parcerias. Ao longo desse período, recebeu diversas indicações e prêmios de grande visibilidade, incluindo indicações para o Grammy, Grammy Latino, VMA 2024 e Prêmio Multishow 2024. 

 

Seu talento e versatilidade como tecladista, produtor e compositor o levaram a trabalhar com grandes nomes da música brasileira e internacional, como: Gilsons, Gilberto Gil, Anitta, Ivete Sangalo, Ludmilla, Rael, Andru Donalds, BK’, Sandra de Sá, Filipe Ret, Marina Sena, Sly and Robbie, Lourena, Liniker, Million Stylez, Juyè, Akira presidente, Froid, Major RD, Sant, Sain, Rachel Reis, Gabriel do Borel, WIU, Melody, Flor Gil , Chico César, entre muitos outros.

 

Em 2025 realizou a produção de finalização do album Raça Humana - Reloaded, que homenageia o álbum homônimo lançado em 1984 por Gilberto Gil, além de produzir a faixa-título “A raça humana”, interpretada por Chico Cesar e Flor Gil. No mesmo ano, produziu “Duplo Sentido” de Gilberto Gil, com Gil ao violão e interpretação de Flor Gil e foi parceiro de Lourena em “Amar Amor”, música de trabalho de seu álbum Lourena Acústico Estúdio Billboard.

 

Atualmente, Pedro se dedica à colaboração com outros artistas, atuando em gravações, produções, performances ao vivo e em composições conjuntas. Sua habilidade em transitar por diversos gêneros musicais e sua entrega artística consolidam seu nome como uma referência na cena musical carioca.

Pedro Wider Malcher is a pianist, composer, and music producer, holding a bachelor’s degree in Arranging/MPB from UNIRIO. His talent and versatility as a keyboardist, producer, and composer have led him to work with major figures in Brazilian and international music, including Gilsons, Gilberto Gil, Anitta, Ivete Sangalo, Ludmilla, Rael, Andru Donalds, BK’, Sandra de Sá, Filipe Ret, Marina Sena, Sly and Robbie, Lourena, Liniker, Million Stylez, Juyè, Akira Presidente, Froid, Major RD, Sant, Sain, Rachel Reis, Gabriel do Borel, WIU, Melody, Flor Gil, and Chico César, among many others.

 

In 2025, he was responsible for the final production of the album Raça Humana – Reloaded, which pays tribute to the album of the same name released by Gilberto Gil in 1984. As part of the same project, he also produced the title track, “A Raça Humana,” interpreted by Chico César and Flor Gil. Also in 2025, he produced “Duplo Sentido” by Gilberto Gil, featuring Gil on acoustic guitar and vocals by Flor Gil, and partnered with Lourena on “Amar Amor,” the lead single from her album Lourena Acústico – Estúdio Billboard.

 

Currently, Pedro focuses on collaborations with other artists, working on recordings, productions, live performances, and joint compositions. His ability to move across different musical genres, combined with his consistent artistic commitment, has established his name as a reference within Rio de Janeiro’s music scene.
